Earlier this week, Dr. Sheri Madigan spoke on the panel #Born: How Screen Use Shapes Early Development and Relationships at the Children and Screens Digital Media and Developing Minds International Scientific Congress in Washington, D.C. She shared current research on the relationship between screens and early development and offered insights into how screen use can both empower and distress parents and young children. She concluded with practical tips for talking with families about their screen media practices. A summary of these tips can be found on this handout.
