We are excited to announce that two of our resources are featured in the CIHR’s annual knowledge mobilization competition. The IHDCYH Talks competition celebrates knowledge mobilization designed to have an impact on the health of children, youth, and families. 

Our video—The Pie Chart of Play and the 5 Cs: Creating Daily Balance in a Digital World—introduces two practical tools to help families of young children navigate the digital world. 

Our infographic—Is your child phone ready?— supports caregivers in deciding when their child may be ready for a smartphone and how to introduce it safely. 

Both resources are informed by evidence from the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Digital Ecosystem, Children, and Adolescents: Policy Statement (2026).
