Jackson Hewitt, MSc, PhD Student (Clinical Psychology)

Jackson (he/him) is a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Calgary. He is interested in the mechanisms underlying the intergenerational transmission of psychological risk. Specifically, his interests include the parent-child relationship and its short- and long-term impact on psychological and interpersonal functioning, attachment styles and developmental processes. He is currently funded by a SSHRC Doctoral Scholarship and a University of Calgary Distinguished Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship. Clinically, Jackson is interested in working with adults in community, inpatient, and outpatient mental health settings.
