Aditi is off to Grad School

We are proud to announce that Aditi Ilangovan, a Volunteer in the lab since 2024, has been accepted into the Master of Science in Medical Science program here at UCalgary. This is an exciting achievement that reflects her ongoing dedication to advance research that improves the health and well-being of children and families.

During her time in the lab, Aditi contributed to various projects examining adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and attachment to better understand their roles in shaping child development.

For her graduate work, she plans to learn from the experiences of families and healthcare professionals following a genetic diagnosis. This work will help shape a national toolkit designed to improve care coordination, communication, and family navigation of post-diagnosis services.

We are incredibly proud of Aditi, and we can’t wait to see where her graduate journey takes her.
