We are proud to announce that two outstanding lab members, Camille Mori and Jackson Hewitt, convocated on November 12, 2024.
Camille completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr. Sheri Madigan. Her research focused on the association between sexual content exposure and problematic sexual behaviors (PSB), and the treatment outcomes of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for PSB (PSB-CBT). Her work offers critical insights into prevention and intervention strategies for youth exhibiting PSB. Her research was supported by an Eyes High Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship and a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Scholarship.
Jackson completed his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr. Sheri Madigan. His master’s thesis examined the bidirectional influences between maternal and child depression, and investigated whether a child’s sociodemographic characteristics can moderate this relationship. Jackson’s research aims to shed light on the complex, dynamic role of mental health within families during adolescence.
Congratulations, Camille and Jackson. We are excited to see where your paths lead next.
