COPE Video Wins Second Place in CIHR IHDCYH Talks Competition

A video developed by our lab in partnership with the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre won second place in a national competition held by the Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health (IHDCYH) at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). All contest winners can be viewed here.

COPE, which stands for Caregiver Online PsychoEducation, offers immediate access to practical strategies that help families better understand and respond to the effects of trauma.

The award-winning video introduces COPE to mental health practitioners, explaining how they can implement the website’s tools and strategies into their practice.

The COPE team is excited to use the award funds to help develop more resources.
