Last month, four lab members presented research at the Association for Psychological Science (APS) conference in Barcelona, Spain.
Their presentations reflected our work on child adversity and caregiver-child relationships through methodological innovation.
Dr. Serena Jenkins presented her poster “Adverse Childhood Experiences and Brain Structure, Function, and Connectivity in General Populations: A Qualitative Umbrella Review.”
Dr. Sheri Madigan presented “Prevalence of 10 Adverse Childhood Experience Items: A Meta-analyses of 1,002 Studies from 102 Countries.” She also presented “Adverse Childhood Experiences & Depression: The Mediating Role of SES Using a Meta-Analytic Structural Equation Modelling Approach,” on behalf of graduate student Raela Thiemann.
Dr. Marissa Nivison presented “Childhood Attachment Security and Executive Function Skills: A Meta-Analysis.”
Finally, Dr. Gizem Keskin presented “Parent Mental Health as a Mediator between Parental Adverse Childhood Experiences and Child Mental Health.”
