We are thrilled to announce that lab member Glorianna Sin won the Traumatic Stress Section Student Poster Award at the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)’s annual convention in Montreal, Quebec. Her poster titled “Global Prevalence of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) in Adults: A Meta-Analysis of 1,002 Studies” was co-authored with Carole A. Lunney, Anh Ly, Alanna Kaser, Haneen Salama, Ross D. Neville, & Sheri Madigan.
The poster draws on data from the ACEs Catalogue (ACEsHub.org) to show that ACEs are widespread, but that rates differ between types of adversity and by geographic region, assessment method, gender, and household income.
Interested in learning more about the prevalence of ACEs? Read the team’s comprehensive meta-analysis of 1,002 studies published in The Lancet Public Health.
Congratulations Glorianna and team!
