Jessy and Camille Receive CPA Dissertation Awards

We are proud to announce that Jessy Cooke and Camille Mori—both former graduate students in our lab—have been awarded Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) Certificates of Academic Excellence for their doctoral dissertations! This award, endorsed by the Council of Canadian Departments of Psychology, recognizes the best theses each year.

Jessy’s dissertation focused on understanding how caregiver adversity, caregiver-child attachment relationships, and caregiving behaviours shape child development and influence risk for psychopathology. Camille’s dissertation focused on the association between sexual content exposure and problematic sexual behaviors (PSB), and the treatment outcomes of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for PSB (PSB-CBT). Both Jessy and Camille were supervised by Dr. Sheri Madigan.

Congratulations, Jessy and Camille, on this outstanding achievement!
