Gizem (she/her) is a postdoctoral researcher funded by a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship. She completed the Psychological Science PhD program at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. Her research examines family dynamics, caregiver-child interactions, and the emotional development of both caregivers and children across childhood and adolescence at multiple time scales (second-to-second, day-to-day, year-to-year) from a dynamic systems perspective. Under the supervision of Dr. Sheri Madigan and Dr. Andre Plamondon (Université Laval), Gizem works primarily with the All Our Families project.
