Serena (she/her) is a Health System Impact Fellow at the University of Calgary, co-funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Alberta Health Services. She is the lead Postdoctoral Fellow on the ACEs Hub team, working to integrate the ACEs Hub into the health system in Alberta. She has a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge, where she used rodent models to examine how maternal preconception experiences impacted brain and behavioral development of the next generation. She also has experience in knowledge mobilization relating to brain development, mental health, and addiction.
