Shaylanne McQueen, BA (Honours)

Summer Research Student

Shaylanne (she/her) recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Honours) at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and will begin her PhD in Clinical Psychology in Québec this fall. Her primary research interests lie in the perinatal period, with a broader focus on parent-child relationships and early developmental processes. This summer, she is working on research examining parental sensitivity in relation to parents’ technology use. Through her research training in Québec, she has developed strong expertise in observational coding and assessment of parent-child interactions, skills that she is eager to contribute to ongoing research within the lab at the University of Calgary.
