Dr. Madigan (she/her) is a Canada Research Chair in the Determinants of Child Development. She joined the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary in 2015 and has been the Director of the lab ever since. Dr. Madigan’s research program advances knowledge of the complex contexts that shape children’s mental health and well-being and translates that knowledge into real-world impact through comprehensive knowledge mobilization. Her federally-funded transdisciplinary work bridges developmental science, pediatrics, psychiatry, social work, and public health to reflect the integrated systems of care involved in supporting children’s mental health.
